This tripod head's advanced and patented features have been greatly optimized using new technical solutions, materials and coatings.The ARCA-SWISS Monoball Z1+ is the latest tripod head in the Monoball Z-Family. Following the introduction Z1g+, the Z1+ will benefit equally from the further refined "Motion Related Gravity Control" system. MRGC is a variable bi-directional drag system which operates independently on both axes but is stabilized in all directions.
With horizontal movements, the friction setting of the ball head remains the same, whereas vertical movements take advantage of the aspherical ball which leads to a progressive increase of the friction as the camera/lens is tipped forward or back.Intelligent engineering and precise manufacturing guarantee well distributed radial forces to provide a strong hold while simultaneously allowing smooth and accurate positioning of the camera. -The Z1+ weighs 800 gr and can handle loads of up to 60 kg.
The Z1dp monoball is equipped with a second horizontal movement located under the camera's mounting plate which means it can be swung whilst remaining perfectly perpendicular. Panoramic images taken using the upper horizontal movement can be perfectly stitched. Thanks to ARCA-SWISS' clever accessory systems, all our monoballs can be fitted with extensions to cater to your every requirement.
