Thirty-five degrees north is a coordinate to a research and development company s headquarters overseas in China. In this novel, Quest has managed to broaden its tentacles all over the globe, especially here in the United States. The company s research involves human DNA, with its hopes of engineering a super soldier. That s not all because they re also studying the CRISPR/Cas 9 genome rewriting program with plans to develop a new, more deadly biowarfare agent. This agent is a bacterium, capable of infecting and killing billions of people globally. Quest s research is on a collision course with two of New York City s finest detectives. That s because Det. Jonathan Rizzo and his partner, JoAnn Wagner, are assigned to a couple of unusual homicides. Detective Rizzo doesn t see it yet, but there s a very dark, nefarious connection between Quest, the Chinese government, and the United States government with average, everyday American citizens in the middle being used as pawns. Rizzo will find himself on a rollercoaster ride, wondering where the off ramp is and why every lead is turning out to be a dead end.
