Авторами визначено й охарактеризовано основні етапи еволюції ідей про об’єднану Європу і забезпечення миру та безпеки в ній (1917–1945): періоди раннього Середньовіччя, Відродження, Просвітництва, пан’європеїзму; проаналізовано і систематизовано політичні та правові концепції військово-політичної інтеграції європейських держав.The process of the European security architecture formation and development has undergone an impressive evolution over the centuries, gradually moving from writing literary treatises to political consultations holding, setting goals, and later developing common positions and agreements on regional security issues as a condition for European countries national security guaranteeing. The monograph studies the political-legal aspects of the process of formation and development of the idea of Europe uniting from ancient times to the present. The authors identify and reveal the main stages of the evolution of ideas about a united Europe and ensuring peace and security in it, in particular: the periods of the early Middle Ages, Renaissance, Enlightenment, Pan-Europeanism, from 1917 to 1945; analyze and systematize political and legal conceptions of military-political integration of European states.[/html]
